Practice Highlights:
- Successful in obtaining a full recovery for a dentist owed compensation by her former employer. The recovery included an award of all attorneys' fees under the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law despite the fact that the dentist was providing services under an "independent contractor" agreement.
- Successfully argued that three township supervisors did not act in contempt of a court order when they voted to again close a township road in the aftermath of a prior proceeding in which the supervisors had been ordered to reopen the road in question.
- Obtained a decisive verdict in favor of an elderly widow who stood to lose her entire interest in a family farm to her older son, who had created a confidential relationship with his mother whereby he wielded an overmastering influence over her.
- Recently completed a detailed framework for a health care fraud and abuse compliance plan at the request of a medical device company doing business throughout much of the continental U.S.
- Among his numerous speaking engagements, Guy has recently lectured on the new Right-to-Know Law before the Dauphin County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Association. He has prepared Right-to-Know policies for several local agencies under the new law.
