Professional and Community Service

The attorneys of Nauman Smith are encouraged to contribute their time and knowledge to both professional and community services. The firm provides Pro Bono Legal Services through the Dauphin County Bar Association, handling several cases per year. Mr. Beneventano has widely lectured on topical legal issues to diverse groups such as the Pennsylvania Association of Non-Profit Homes for the Aging, Pennsylvania Medical Society, County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania, the Health Care Professionals Association of Pennsylvania, and the International Society of Professional Orthopaedic Education.

 

Suzanne S. Friday

Mrs. Friday co-chairs the Women's Fund at The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, formerly the Greater Harrisburg Foundation, and serves as the assistance treasurer for the Junior League of Harrisburg. Mrs. Friday has worked with the Dauphin County Bar Association's continuing legal education program and is a pro bono guardian monitor with the Dauphin County Orphan's Court. Mrs. Friday often consults with small, start-up nonprofit organizations on a pro bono basis and has represented clients through the Dauphin County Bar Association's pro bono nonprofit initiative. Mrs. Friday was named to the Dauphin County Bar Association's 2007 pro bono honor roll.
